As Process Engineer you will be reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. You will work closely together with the Process Engineers within the team. You will also work in close cooperation with the Operations Department. You will play a key role in supporting our team of plant professionals to ensure plant availability and optimize the production process. You will participate in or lead incident investigations, draft test run proposals and you will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams related to plant investments in order to debottleneck the process unit(s) and ensure future business requirements.
Functiecriteria
•You are an experienced Process Engineer with high level knowledge of both chemical processing unit operations and design and with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in industrial operations or/and petrochemical plants.
•You have a background in process or chemical engineering on Bachelor or Academic level (HTS or TU Process Technology or Chemical Technology).
•You have acquired knowledge of process safety principles and systems.
•Practical working experience in Operations is a prerequisite.
•You possess good analytical skills and are able to break down complex problems into manageable pieces to get to the root cause.
•Preferably, you have experience in working in projects as a Process Engineer.
•You know how to deal and communicate with people at different layers of the organization, you are flexible and outgoing, you have a positive attitude and you are result driven.
•Good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages, both written and verbal, is prerequisite.
